Holloween Story Summary
In this story, it explain about Holloween. The word "Halloween" comes from the name of a holiday from the 800s AD, called All Hollow's Eve. Also Oct. 31st was the eve of the Celtic New Year. Much later, when Oct. 31 was no longer the last day of the year, autumn festivals continued to be held, celebrating the harvest and honoring the dead. Over time, however, holloween became a celebration mostly for children. At Halloween parties, children play games, listen to ghost stories, enjoy snacks, and decorate their Halloween "trick-or-treat" bag for evening. Black is one of he tranditional Halloween colors, probably because Halloween festivals and tranditions took place at night and also marked beginning of winter darkness. Pumpkins are also a symbol of Halloween. Since the pumpkin is a large, orange-colored squash, orange has become the other tranditional Halloween color. Today, Halloween bcame famous!!!
